Emily joined Erhardt Physical Therapy in December of 2014. She obtained her Bachelor degree in Athletic Training from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She then went on to earn her Masters degree in Sport and Recreation Management while serving as the graduate assistant athletic trainer for the North Dakota State Division 1 softball team. Emily is also FMS (Functional Movement Systems) Level 1 Certified, enhancing her expertise in the exercise rehabilitation field. Emily was born and raised in Illinois, and has loved living in Oregon where she is able to take full advantage of her passion for mountain biking.
Jon is the Owner, Director and one of the practicing therapists at Erhardt Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine, P.C. He established his private practice in 1999 to give him the liberty to follow his philosophy to provide high quality, compassionate, individualized patient focused care. Jonathan received a Bachelor of Science Magna Cum Laude in Exercise & Sport Science at Oregon State University, in 1994. He earned his Master of Science in Physical Therapy with Distinction at Pacific University in 1997. With his commitment to state of the art treatment techniques he has continued to grow his knowledge and refine his skills through board certified programs. He is an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS), Certified Orthopedic Manipulative Therapist (COMT) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Therapists.
Cara joined the Erhardt Physical Therapy team in July 2013. She attended Loma Linda University in Southern California to earn a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and loved the “whole person care” education she received there. Cara first discovered that she wanted to be a physical therapist when working as a massage therapist in a Chiropractor’s office. After her discovery, she joined the Navy to serve her country and to get assistance with school where she served 4 years as a Hospital Corpsman in North Carolina.
Cara’s clinical internship and volunteer work have been in varied fields working with peds, outpatient orthopedics, health promotions, neuro rehab, geriatric populations and post-surgical. She currently lives in Scappoose with her husband, 2 kids and 2 dogs where they are quickly falling in love with the Pacific Northwest and its plentiful outdoor activities.
Orion joined Erhardt Physical Therapy in September 2011. He was raised in Alaska and completed his undergraduate work at Macalester College in St Paul, MN and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Pacific University of Oregon, in Forest Grove. Orion is also a Crossfit Level 1 Trainer and Yoga instructor (he spent 3 months training in Thailand). This additional training and experience combined with his commitment to manual physical therapy and dedication to continued education (through the NAIOMT program) make him an excellent fit with Erhardt PT philosophies. Orion says, “I truly believe that both patients and therapists thrive in an environment of one-on-one treatment sessions. Erhardt Physical Therapy shares my drive for self improvement, passion for patient care and deep enthusiasm for physical therapy”. In his spare time – when he’s not doing crossfit, he’s plunking away on his acoustic guitar and spending outdoor time with his wife Kara.
Laurel is a 1970 graduate of Scappoose High. Her 20 plus years of experience in the corporate and human resources side of the finance industry laid an excellent foundation to be the Billing Manager for EPT. She now very much enjoys coming to work in her old home town, and you will usually find her warm and friendly voice on the other end of the phone line at EPT.
Wela joined Erhardt Physical Therapy in January 2014 after being a stay at home mom for 12 years. While “staying home” would imply that she had not been working, she spent the time volunteering quite extensively at her children’s schools serving on the PTA Executive Boards, Site Councils and spearheading the Scappoose Brick Project. She is a team player who thrives on finding solutions to problems with a positive attitude. Most weekends, she can be found on a basketball bleacher or soccer field cheering on her kids.
Danielle started with Erhardt PT as a student observer on her path to becoming a physical therapist. Her intellect, “can I help you?” attitude, and wonderful personality prompted us to hire her. She has lived in Scappoose most of her life graduating from Scappoose High. She was active in 4-H with projects in photography, sewing, swine and beef. She is an avid soccer fan playing in high school and is already cheering for Portland’s new women’s pro team. She attended University of Idaho and graduated from Western Oregon University last year with a degree in Exercise Science. She can proudly put a “Dean’s List” tag on both of those endeavors. She will be applying to physical therapy graduate programs in the near future. Danielle will be spending most of her time supporting Jon in our Raleigh Hills location where her education, persona and life interests will really compliment our clinic.
Nancy is our over qualified part-time gal. She has a BS from Washington State University in Business Administration specializing in accounting. Her career has primarily focused on financial and planning analysis, and accounting. Before coming to Erhardt PT she enjoyed working in her mother’s flower shop as a shop manager. Now she enjoys an easy little part-time gig here at Erhardt PT where she can walk to work. You’ll see her here busy at the front desk or she may be behind the scenes where her diverse expertise is an asset to Erhardt PT and very much appreciated. Nancy’s enthusiasm for staying physically active fits very well with our office culture. She still travels to an occasional WSU football game. (GO COUGARS!). For many years she played in a woman’s softball league. It’s pretty common to see her, her husband Gene and their two dogs trekking about Scappoose.
